Bonds gets Splash Hit #33. A kayaker got the ball. The home crowd was on it’s feet the moment it was hiit. A great game for Giants fans. For all you Barry haters, this was not a game for you to savor. April 18, 2007. Cards 5 at Giants 6. foto by Jeff Chiu.

BIG CREDIT to the SF Chronicle! Their coverage of the Giants is simply the best. Thanks!

Bonds looked much fitter in the spring training shot suertudo caught of him in February!

Hi Sis! Suertudo sent me some of those great shots. Barry got off to a good start during spring. Next year you should get tickets to a Giants game and take your cameras. Barry will likely retire after this season, but maybe not. I was up LATE last night watching the game. The Cardinal announcers were having a good time until Barry’s homer tied the game in the bottom of the 8th inning.

that big looping follow through is reminscent of another ex-giant, first baseman will clark. clark’s swing was much more longer and elegant, while bonds’ compact swing delivers a freakish amount of power. perhaps he made his swing longer this season to compensate for a loss of power from no more flax seed oil.

Hi Permanently Scatterbrained! Yeah, the Thrill was a cool cookie. He & Matt Williams were the two eligible bachelors on the team, but they were both losing their hair early.

Will’s first AB in the majors was a HR off Nolan Ryan, what a charmed life. Barry is both jinxed AND charmed. The home crowd was really behind Barry last night.
